Meet the Team

Pastor James was born and raised in Cartersville and has served since 2011 as a local pastor at churches in Rome, Aragon, and Trion in the Northwest District and Lithia Springs UMC and Douglasville First UMC in the Central West District. He received his Bachelor's degree in Ministry from Shorter University in 2007 and graduated with an Mdiv from Emory University's Candler School of Theology in August of 2018. He is extremely excited to be back home in Bartow County and serving with the great people at Pine Log Church.

Hannah is a lifelong resident of Rydal, a longtime member of Pine Log Church, and serves as the Church Administrator. With a heart for serving others and a deep love for Jesus, she helps support the ministry and day-to-day operations of the church. Hannah has been married to Tommy for 10 years, is the proud mother of Scarlett (born on the 4th of July), and operates a pet-sitting business on the side. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and caring for her many beloved pets.
